When instrument manufacturers launch a new range they tend to focus on the handle or the tip – but DENTSPLY has considered both in developing it’s NEW Artio™ range. 

The range has been devised in close consultation with clinicians to provide an instrument that is super-light, super-strong and super-sharp. In total, there are 60 lightweight instruments for both restorative and periodontal needs, so there is something for everyone. 

Great care was taken in selecting the best materials to use in making Artio. The range has super-strong, hard cutting tips developed under a special cryogenic process. This process means there are no harder stainless steel tips on the market, so there’s less sharpening, and better durability. The resin handle has also been designed to be the lightest available, yet is strong and resilient enough to withstand even the toughest sterilisation regime.
